Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation (KCDC) has hired Sabrina Draplin as vice president of housing.
“Sabrina’s talents and depth of experience with large housing enterprises will not only enhance KCDC today, but also help continue our success for the future,” said Ben Bentley, executive director and CEO of KCDC. “As a member of the executive management team, she will lend her strategic and tactical expertise to multiple aspects of the organization, and we welcome her to the team.”
Draplin is focused on communication and engagement, increased operational efficiency, goal setting and accountability, customer service, financial strength and facilities management in her role at KCDC. She will ensure that business and professional protocols are designed to achieve maximum funding with the goal of providing optimal housing outcomes for Knoxville area residents.
Draplin has an extensive background in housing operations leadership. She recently relocated from Milford, Michigan, where she served as director of operations for Hunt Companies, Inc. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Michigan.
Draplin will reside in Knoxville and is passionate about animal rescue and organizations focused on women in leadership roles. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, cooking, tennis, hiking, paddle boarding and checking out the food scene in and around Knoxville.
