Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation (KCDC) has hired Tracy Lang as senior director of human resources.
“Tracy has deep skill sets in human resources disciplines, including employee relations, benefits and recruiting, that will help in the operation of our HR department and impact the entire organization,” KCDC Executive Director and CEO Ben Bentley said. “We’re happy to welcome her to the KCDC team.”
Lang earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Tusculum University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Governors University. She is a Certified Compensation Professional® and past president and secretary of East Tennessee Compensation and Benefits Association (ETCBA). She currently is pursuing Society of Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
She previously served in multiple HR director roles, most recently as director of talent acquisition and employee relations for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
Lang lives in Maryville with her husband, Todd, of 35 years. Her two adult children live in Florida, and she is excited to welcome her first grandchild in 2024. Lang volunteers extensively in the community.
