In honor of the special day, KCDC recently hosted a party at Christenberry Heights, a KCDC premier property in North Knoxville. We had refreshments; games; music; representatives from the Knoxville Police Department and Knoxville Fire Department; and booths from many area organizations.
Thunderstorms forced us to wrap things up a little early, but the rain didn’t dampen the spirit of the evening. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and togetherness.
KCDC invested more than $16 million remodeling Christenberry Heights into a premier property, but it takes the involvement of residents to truly transform and empower a community. Christenberry residents are doing just that.
KCDC’s mission is to improve and transform neighborhoods and communities by providing quality affordable housing, advancing development initiatives and fostering self-sufficiency. For more information, call 865-403-1100 or visit http://www.kcdc.org.
