Knoxville's Community Development Corporation's executive staff, management at Love Towers and KCDC employees hosted and served lunch to residents of Guy B. Love Towers at the fifth annual Love Towers Resident Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 21.

Love Towers consists of two seven-story apartment buildings located one block off of Broadway. One building is designated for seniors only, and the other is available for disabled, elderly and near-elderly individuals.

Steve Ellis, Love Towers occupancy manager, established the luncheon as a way to build up the community and to show KCDC’s appreciation for the residents. About 90 residents enjoyed lasagna for lunch and cake for dessert. Several of them won door prizes including food baskets and gift cards.
