Art Cate, our chief operating officer, recently traveled to Denver for an annual conference of housing authority agencies from cities throughout the country. At the conference, Emphasys Software presented its first-ever Pioneer Award to Art and KCDC. Emphasys Software is the largest full-service software provider to the public housing, housing finance and redevelopment marketplace. It serves hundreds of agencies throughout North America.

Pioneer Award for KCDC

Art Cate, our chief operating officer, recently traveled to Denver for an annual conference of housing authority agencies from cities throughout the country. At the conference, Emphasys Software presented its first-ever Pioneer Award to Art and KCDC.

Emphasys Software is the largest full-service software provider to the public housing, housing finance and redevelopment marketplace. It serves hundreds of agencies throughout North America.

We received the award based on input we provided to Emphasys Software that improved their product used by these agencies.

As you might imagine, running an efficient and productive local housing agency is no easy task. Agencies face the challenge of providing citizens with superior service despite ever-shrinking tax dollars. At the same time, they must meet governing agencies’ requirements for better reporting and improved control of resources, as well as more efficient and responsive record keeping. It’s a tough job.

We’re honored for the award and pleased to know that work we did will help make it a little easier for our fellow agencies throughout the country to do their jobs.
