Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation's Section 8 office is located at 400 Harriet Tubman Street. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (est).

***Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program – Beginning July 12th, KCDC will accept applications from 7:30-11:30 each day for families with specific preferences. You may call the Section 8 application office at (865) 403-1258 regarding preference information.  

Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation Program – The Moderate Rehabilitation Program (MRP) is a subsidized housing program for designated properties. Applications will be placed in order on the waiting list, based upon established preferences listed in KCDC’s Section 8 Administrative Plan, time and date of application. As Moderate Rehabilitation properties have available units, applicants will be notified based on waiting list order.
